If you’ve got a 10,000-gallon tank of an oily substance, chances are – you know what a Spill Plan Engineers Arkansas Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan is, and you don’t ever want the EPA to call you.
Spill Plan Man is unlike other companies in that we don’t get focused on things outside of SPCCs. With more than 10 years of ongoing experience in 40 CFR 112.8 and 112.9 facilities, our engineer and / or his colleagues have experience with onshore, offshore, and the EPA’s interpretations of the rules. One misunderstanding that we’re trying to correct is the pervasive misunderstanding that you need a whole new SPCC plan every 5 years. Instead the rule says the management team will review their SPCC every 5 years. If no “technical changes” have been made, you never need to rewrite the plan or have Spill Plan Engineers Arkansas review it.
That’s why we’re here. Spill Plan Man makes technical amendments to spill plans. One thing you might not know is that when you make a change, usually, you just need a technical amendment, not a whole new spill plan.

When we first started, we were using a wooden Survey pole. It’s not uncommon to see Surveyors using wooden tripods because they don’t expand in contract with the changing of the sunlight throughout a course of the day. High-tech equipment is placed on top of wooden tripods regularly. However, a sliding wooden survey pole is not common at all. Not only did I inherit a filing cabinet from a World War II pilot, but I also was helped extensively by an engineer 30 years older than me that became a mentor. He had helped Survey in locations throughout Louisiana. He was a Rod man for his father and knew just enough about SURVEYING to help me utilize benchmarks and other methods of detailing the secondary containment capacities that we measured early on with our laser level and wooden survey Spill Plan Engineers Arkansas pole.
Spill Plan Man (SPCC) to work on any project that involves an upcoming (EPA) inspection. We focus on getting everything done ahead of time so that you pass the inspection with no penalties or action items. Over the 55 EPA inspections that we’ve done we’ve only had two times that a client got fined and it was because the Spill Plan Engineers Arkansas client did not take the inspection seriously and complete the action list that we prepared ahead of time. We look forward to working with clients in a much less hurry scenario when it comes to doing the normal activities to keep their SPCC Evergreen. But we are familiar with last-minute action items and pulling all nighters if needed. When you call Spill Plan Man (SPCC), you are talking to people who care about the success of your operation.
